Are you a Housing Worker?
There are many ways we can work with you. RENT (Resources Exist for Networking and Training) was developed to help housing workers reduce homelessness and maintain housing for their clients. Become a member of the RENT online community through our website www.housingworkers.ca and:
- Talk to other housing workers on line about issues affecting your clients
- Attend training sessions about topics housing workers need to know
- Take TESHH (Training of Essential Skills for Housing Help) if you’re new to the field
- Receive information bulletins about the housing help sector and issues that are important to you
- Access a large library of information and resources you can use in your work
- Participate in the Job Shadow/Mentorship program that matches new housing workers with more experience workers in the sector.
- Become connected to HHAO (Housing Help Association of Ontario) at www.findhousinghelp.ca
