Ontario Early Years Centres

There are more than 100 Ontario Early Years Centres (OEYC) in Ontario, including specific centres for Francophone and Aboriginal families. Each OEYC is led by a local community agency that delivers programs to families with children, aged 0 - 6, in partnership with other local service providers.

There are 24 OEYCs in the City of Toronto.  EYET is the lead agency for two of them: Toronto Centre-Rosedale and Beaches-East York.

Want to learn more about child development and parenting?
Visit us at the Ontario Early Years Centres for parenting programs, parent/child early learning activities, school readiness, early identification services, nutrition programs, community information and resources, links to other early years services, referrals, volunteer opportunities and more.

An average day at the OEYC is filled with creative activities and learning opportunities such as Nobody’s Perfect, Make the Connection, Incredible Years, Infant Development and Young Mom’s Groups, the Parent-Child Mother Goose Program, Special Needs Supports and Resources, to name a few. It’s also a place for parents and children to connect with one another and make new friends!

Not only do programs take place at the main site of each of EYET’s Ontario Early Years Centres but they are also offered at many of our partners’ centres and sometimes in neighbourhood parks, school grounds, libraries and other community spaces.

OEYC programs are offered Monday to Saturday and some evenings.  For a list of program dates and times, CLICK HERE to see our calendars.  For a list of program locations, CLICK HERE for EYET programs and CLICK HERE for other programs in the community.
