Are you pregnant?
Congratulations! The East York Healthy Beginnings for Healthy Babies program (EYHBHB) provides information, education and support to pregnant women to have healthy pregnancies and healthy babies. When you visit EYHBHB at either of our two program locations you’ll find a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The program runs once a week in each location. We provide childminding for your other children, nutritious snacks, information about pregnancy and access to health care professionals. Each week, program workshops focus on a different topic, including:
- Workshops and discussions about how to have a healthy baby
- Prenatal information
- Nutritional information and resources
- One-on-one appointments with a Public Health Nurse and Dietician
- Food Supplements
- Breastfeeding support
- The opportunity to connect to other women in your community!
EYHBHB is offered in two communities: Thorncliffe Park and Crescent Town. For specific program information like times and locations, please call or e-mail us.
